Swag
A swag is a bunch of foliage, flowers, fruit, or other natural materials that is fastened in the middle and hung on a wall, displayed over a fireplace, or on a table or door as decoration. While a swag can be made from a variety of materials, dried swags are very popular and are a great way to add interest and color to any space. When choosing a space to display a swag, make sure that a fresh or dried swag will not be exposed to any moisture. Placing a dried or fresh swag away from heat vents or windows can ensure that it will last for years. Other than proper placement, the only way you will need to care for your dried or fresh swag is to dust it when needed. You can dust your swag with a feather duster or use a hair dryer, on the low setting, to blow off any excess dust that accumulates. If you need to store your swag, try wrapping it in newspaper and placing it in a box. This will prevent any excess moisture from accumulating. You can then store your swag indoors or outdoors.
Swags can serve as a unique alternative to traditional wreaths and can be hung by themselves or with other swags. Whether made from synthetic or natural materials, a swag will easily complement any home or office décor. There are many swags to choose from—have fun deciding which swag to hang in your home or office, you’ll be sure to enjoy it for years to come.
